Product Description

Leached silica fabric is manufactured from fiberglass fabric then leached (a process that removes impurities from the fabric) to provide a minimum 70.5% Silica content product. The standard leached silica fabrics are a cost-effective option.  This fabric is not preshrunk.

The product has excellent heat resistance properties and can be used for a long time in the environment of 1000 °C. The instantaneous heat resistance temperature can reach 1400 °C, the workbench remains in perfect condition for 15 seconds at 1600ºC and the softening point temperature is 1700 °C.

Compared with ceramic fiber cloth, it has smaller ablation rate and thermal shrinkage rate (close to 1%), no stimulation to human body, beautiful appearance and good hand feeling.

High silica cloths/fabrics are widely used in aerospace, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials, fire protection and other industrial fields.
